Haiku Gardens, Haiku Read,
Kaneohe
The
Haiku Japanese Gardens are located along
Haiku Road in Kaneohe, Hawaii. The
multi-acre property, which locals and
tourists consider a “hidden gem”, is located
close to the Valley of the
Temples where the famous
Byodo-In Temple is.
During the 19th century, the land where the
gardens are on was sold to a wealth
Englishman named Baskerville. He worked on
landscaping the property and making numerous
water lily ponds. Baskerville had charming
little houses built among the flowers and
trees he carefully selected and planted.
The lovely picturesque venue with the Koolau
mountains as its background is often used
for bridal showers, rehearsal dinners,
weddings, intimate get-togethers, baby
showers, and other special occasions. A
restaurant is located a quick stroll away
from the gardens, and is often used for
wedding receptions.
The team maintaining and operating the
gardens also offers wedding planning
services. They have professional, dedicated
on-site wedding coordinators ready to make
couples’ dream weddings a reality. They
offer creative insights and ideas, handle
logistics, and they provide overall event
planning, which they execute in a very
detailed and proficient manner.
Couples may choose from the Haiku Gardens’
wedding packages, or they may ask for
customized options. The musicians, makeup
artists, stylists, photographers, and all
other professionals working
with the Haiku Gardens team
have over ten years of experience in their
respective fields, so brides
and grooms may count on the
top quality service.
